Benavista Lawn Bowls Club is situated just off the A7/N340 the main Malaga to Algeciras Road at KM167.

If coming from the Malaga direction, after passing through San Pedro de Alcantara continue towards Estepona, go past the Benahavis turn off, you will pass Centro Commercial Diana on your right. Take the next slip road and continue to the cross roads by Cherito’s resturant. Go straight across, past the shops and cafe’s, this is Centro Commercial Benavista, take the first right and the Bowls club is on the right.

If coming from the Estepona direction proceed to the Benahavis turn off. Take the turn off go under the road and take the Estepona exit from the roundabout and then follow the diections as above.

We have a brand new 6 rink carpet, laid by the new owner Hughie Holgate, he has kept 2 rinks on the old green for casual bowlers. The Club House is open to the public from 9.30am until about 7.00pm at which time service will be swithched to Bar Los Arcos . As from September the Club with all the facilities of the Club House will be open 7 days a week.

Club days are Monday 2.00pm start except during July and August when it will start at 10am.

Wednesday 2.00pm start except during July and August when it will start at 10am.

Saturday 2.00pm start except during July and August when it will start at 10am.

We have a Club Winter League which we play on Selected Tuesdays at 2.00pm, starting in September and played over 14 games.

The Club Summer League is played on Friday at 6.00pm and is also played over 14 games.

We are also organising Sunday competitions mainly for club members which will have varied formats.

We enter 3 teams in the Costa Del Sol Winter League and 2 teams in the Costa del Sol Summer League, plus one team in the Costa del Sol team 11 during the Summer.

There are many competitions up and down the coast which our members enter and we have our 2 Major Benavista Classic Competitions in the Spring and Autumn.

The annual club membership is due on 1st September.

Membership fee’s are €17 per year and all members who are here for more than 1 month per year, an annual membership fee of  €20 is also payable to the Federacion Andaluza de Bolos.

Playing fees can be paid in 3 different way.

1. For those members who are here all year, a sum of €380 can be paid at the same time as membership fees and this will entitle the member to play at any time including all club days, home league matches and competitions, but excluding the 2 Classic competitions and any other Open Major competition played at Benavista.

2. For those members who spend the winter here a sum of €350 can be paid at the same time as membership fees. This will give them the same benefits as above but only from the 1st September to 31st May.

3. For this year we are also introducing a 6 monthly membership of €275. This will give the same benefits as above but only from 1st November to 31st March.

4. A pay and play fee of €7 for every game.

There is also a Social membership fee of €10
